    Arthritis ACT need your help, with conducting of a fundraising concert at Albert Hall, Commonwealth Avenue, Yarralumla on Sunday, 6th May 2012 from 1.00 pm to 6.00 pm.

    Volunteers would be required to help with setting up of hall/seating, assist in the canteen and sell tickets at the door for the concert.

    Volunteers should be  able to lift chairs, handle money and provide pleasant customer service.

    Overview

    Telecross is a service that provides daily reassurance phone calls to people living in the community who are vulnerable due to age, unstable medical conditions or social isolation. These phone calls provide confidence and reassurance not just to the client but also to their families, friends and carers’.

    These phone calls are made by volunteers and the service would not be able to function without its team of dedicated volunteers who provide phone calls every day of the year.
