WOW (Working Wonders Inc) assists local women by providing them with work clothing, footwear & accessories, where they are unable to source these themselves. Volunteers work in groups of 2-3 in our boutique and storeroom based in Downer.
Rostered sessions: 10am Wed, Thurs, Fri and Saturdays 1.30, for 2.5 to 3 hours.
Tasks include
- selecting suitable stylish clothes for clients
- providing style advice
- retrieving clothes from the storeroom
- sorting incoming stock
- disposing of surplus stock
- tidying up after appointments
Volunteers must be of good character, friendly, enthusiastic, sensitive to client’s needs and respect their privacy.
You will require access to email and a driver’s license is preferable although Downer is on bus route.
