Your first Pageant memory?
I remember as a child watching the Credit Union Christmas Pageant on television This marked the beginning of Christmas for us and we always put the Christmas tree up when the Pageant was on.
I also remember the first Christmas Pageant I participated in like it was yesterday. We turned off South Tce onto King William Street the feeling of excitement and pure shock when I saw the amount people that had lined the streets was amazing. I was a musician on the Bandicoot Boar float and by the end of the pageant I had no voice and couldn’t talk. Would I do it again with as much enthusiasm? You bet you I would.
What am I looking forward to most this year?
I am really looking forward to my prince and royal family duties and representing my credit union Community CPS. I’m also looking forward to meeting all of the children that may not be able to attend on pageant day and taking the excitement and magic of the Credit Union Christmas Pageant to them. I’m so excited about having the opportunity to spend time with these kids and take them on a journey with us while we are with them.
What is the best thing so far?
I think the best thing about being part of the Royal Family so far is meeting like minded staff from other credit unions and forming great friendships. We have had some great fun during our photo shoots and recently we all had great fun during a shoot on the Popeye river cruise boat.
If you get the chance stop by Rundle Mall tomorrow from 11.30 am. The Credit Union Christmas Pageant Royal Family will be there and you’ll get to see the King & Queen get crowned!
Wish me luck
