Last Friday morning started like most however when I arrived at the branch there was a sign on the door Long Live the King, I chuckled and went inside.
The day was actually quite enjoyable I found out the sign was from the other king in the mall George from Donut King who I can highly recommend for a good cup of coffee. Throughout the day members were commenting on how they saw me on the news and passed on their congratulations I even had a business member bring in The Advertiser and asked for the king’s signature.
Probably the highlight of the day though was when my nieces Issy and Tahlia came to see me. When they were leaving the youngest Tahlia turned as she was half out the branch and yelled bye KING everyone started laughing it was so cute.
This week I had surgery (nothing serious, I will be fine) and during pre-op I was chatting to the nurse and was telling her how I am this year’s Credit Union Christmas Pageant King. When she walked me into the theatre she said “Attention everyone” the doctors and nurses that were prepping everything stopped. She said “we have to take special care of this patient as he is the King in this year’s Credit Union Christmas Pageant” it was so funny.
I can’t wait to see the rest of the Royal Family again they are such a great group of people and good fun. You will be able to meet the Royals at this year’s Royal Adelaide Show, stay tuned for the further updates.
