Are you fascinated by history and enjoy looking through old cemeteries? Have you ever visited the oldest Australian operating cemetery – West Terrace Cemetery?
If so, Adelaide Cemeteries Authority has several volunteer positions that may interest you!.
They are looking for Tour Guides; Education and Special Interest Group Hosts; Research Assistants; Customer Service, Exhibition and Event Attendants; Photographers.
You could assist with the development and delivery of tours and events, or help research and collate the rich history of West Terrace Cemetery.

Volunteers need be over 18, have good communication skills, the ability to work with diverse people from all ages, social and cultural backgrounds, have an eye for detail, work well unsupervised, and have a keen knowledge of South Australia’s history.
All volunteers are asked to be available for a minimum of 3 hours per week across a 7-day rotating roster. Days and times are flexible. Some reimbursements are available. The West Terrace Cemetery is wheelchair accessible and on public transport routes.
