Daffodil Day Shopping Centre Coordinators-Metro & Regional WA

Position Filled

Join the Cancer Council team in its fight against cancer by volunteering as a special Daffodil Day Shopping Centre Coordinator on Friday 24 August 2012. It’s fun, it’s easy and it’s for a great cause!

We aim to have sites in over 100 shopping centres throughout WA – selling bunches of beautiful Spring daffodils and a range of fun merchandise – and your support will enable us to do that. By giving just a day or two of your time, you will be making a difference to the lives of people affected by cancer. Shopping Centre Coordinators play an essential role in our Daffodil Day fundraising by coordinating a shopping centre site and a small team of volunteers (who could be your family and friends!)

All money raised goes directly to cancer research, prevention programs and support services for patients and their families.

Successful applicants are required to be 18 or over, oversee a shopping centre site for a day or two, set up and sell a range of merchandise, roster volunteers, deposit funds and return unsold merchandise.

Volunteering hours will be shopping centre hours (flexible) on Friday 24 August 2012 and some additional hours for coordinating your team. The Cancer Council will reimburse approved out-of-pocket expenses.
