Ahoy! Have you ever wanted to have your own ship to look after?

Overview:

We urgently need volunteers to assist in looking after the HMB Endeavour Guide during 16th – 23rd February 2012.

Volunteers will provide all visitors, including special interest tours, group tours and schools with an accurate interpretation of the HMB Endeavour replica and assist visitors onboard. Also record visitor numbers and provide feedback to the supervisor on OH&S incidents and other issues of concern.

When you’re required:

Ideally as many days as available during HMB Endeavour’s stay in port (9.00am to 5.00pm) 16th February – 23rd February 2012.

Skills Required:

Training provided with HMB Endeavour staff prior to the ship’s arrival and a familiarisation visit prior to the opening of the ship.

Guides will be issued with an HMB Endeavour Replica booklet, HMB Endeavour bucket hat, ANMM Certificate of Service, ANMM water bottle and free entry to the museum in Sydney for one year
